Homemade Pumpkin Spice Syrup

Start with our homemade pumpkin spice syrup recipe to make your own pumpkin spiced lattes!

When the leaves start falling and the weather turns cold there’s nothing we love more than a pumpkin spice latte. At the first sign of fall we make our homemade pumpkin spice syrup – a quick and inexpensive way to make pumpkin spiced lattes at home.

We use our pumpkin spice syrup with milk in our coffee and love to bottle it up as a seasonal gift to friends that love pumpkin spiced everything! It’s also amazing on waffles and pancakes.

For this recipe you can use canned pumpkin or cooked pumpkin/winter squash from your garden. Did you know that most canned pumpkin is actually what we in the US call winter squash, not just from pie pumpkins? So you can be creative with your choice of pumpkin!
